Why you need 1600 Ton Pressbrake, Bending force depends on:

Material strength

Bend length

Die opening

When any of those go big, tonnage skyrockets.
A 1600-ton press brake is used when:

Plate is thick (20–60+ mm / ¾"–2½"+)

Material is high-strength

Parts are long (6–10+ meters / 20–30+ ft)
