Description
Made of durable stainless steel, the Alto-Shaam QC3-100/NT blast chiller resists rust and corrosion while offering quick-freeze, soft-chill, hard-chill, and hold settings. This adaptable unit is part of the Quickchiller™ series and comes with a touchscreen display that includes 20 preset menu options to conform to the needs of most commercial kitchens or bakeries. Its internal cabin holds (20) 12-inch by 20-inch pans or 20 half-size hotel pans at once and is paired with three temperature probes to ensure accurate readings throughout high-volume shifts. To promote safe use for the unit itself and line cooks, this chiller includes one roll-in cart, 20 rail supports, 10 stainless steel shelves, and one drip tray.
The Alto-Shaam QC3-100/NT roll-in chilling unit features a left-hinged door to lock in -10 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit temperatures, while its dual refrigeration systems are designed to maintain cold temperatures. These systems are self-contained to maximize storage space, and they quickly cool down the internal space for fast-paced services. As these systems run, they power the condensing unit and coated evaporator coils, which work to dispel any warm or ambient air from the inside with the use of R-404A refrigerant. Considering this unit generates cold temperatures, it is paired with automatic defrosts to limit ice damage.
