Description

The Garland UTBG48-AR48 charbroiler is a powerful countertop unit designed for heavy-duty grilling in commercial kitchens. Constructed of stainless steel on the front, sides, and back, this unit is built for durability and streamlined cleaning. It features a 471/4-inch-wide broiling area with a 213/16-inch-deep cooking grid, supported by adjustable cast iron grates. Reversible cast iron broiler racks, divided into 3-inch-wide sections, provide versatile cooking options with brand marks measuring 1/8 inch and 3/16 inch. Each of the eight burners is controlled by a variable hi/lo manual valve, ensuring precise heat adjustments to meet cooking needs. A built-in crumb tray captures debris for simplified cleaning, and the unit stands on four adjustable stainless steel legs for stability.
Designed for high-performance cooking, the Garland UTBG48-AR48 gas charbroiler operates on natural gas, delivering a total of 144,000 BTU. It includes one cast iron radiant over each 18,000 BTU stainless steel burner, spaced every 6 inches of broiler width for even heat distribution. This model comes equipped with a 3/4-inch NPT gas regulator and a "T" gas manifold connection for versatile installation options. The 31/2-inch-deep stainless steel front rail enhances usability, and optional accessories such as a stainless steel spatter guard, broiler grate cleaning tool, and stainless steel stand are available to enhance functionality.
