Description

The Garland UTBG48-NR48 charbroiler is a durable countertop unit designed for heavy-duty grilling in commercial kitchens. Built with a stainless steel front, sides, and back, it withstands high-volume use while being simple to clean. Eight burners, each controlled by a variable hi/lo manual valve, ensure precise heat adjustments. A stainless steel crumb tray streamlines cleanup, and the unit stands on four adjustable stainless steel legs for stability. Its 48-inch-wide broiling area includes a 213/16-inch-deep cooking grid with non-adjustable cast iron grates that retain heat for consistent cooking. Reversible cast iron broiler racks, divided into 3-inch-wide sections, provide branding marks measuring 1/8 inch and 1/8 inch for professional-quality searing.
Powered by natural gas, the Garland UTBG48-NR48 charbroiler delivers a total of 144,000 BTU, with one cast iron radiant over each 18,000 BTU stainless steel burner to ensure even heat distribution. It comes equipped with a 3/4-inch NPT gas regulator and a "T" gas manifold connection for convenient rear or flush-mount installation. The 31/2-inch-deep stainless steel front rail enhances usability, and optional accessories such as a stainless steel spatter guard, broiler grate cleaning tool, and stainless steel stand further expand its functionality.
