Description

Crafted with close attention to an efficient design, the Imperial IGG-48 griddle sits on countertops to maximize space and offers a grooved griddle plate to finish scorched peppers or soft onions with a charbroil finish. This cooking surface measures 48-inches-wide by 24-inches-deep by 1-inch-thick, holding heat for extended periods of time to produce seamless services. A 4-inch grease gutter and 1-gallon grease can are attached to this griddle, storing excess grease in accessible places for later disposal. Most of the exposed metal is constructed of stainless steel€”easy to clean with quick wiping€”and stands on four 4-inch legs to properly ventilate the underside of the griddle.
The Imperial IGG-48 gas griddle is made with a four-burner heating element€”each one spaced 12 inches apart for even cooking€”and employs thermostatic controls to set precise temperatures. Rather than making guesswork with levels of heat, the thermostatic controls set temperatures to a certain numerical value for simplified preparation. This feature paired with the instant ignition grant ease and speed in the workplace, while the aeration baffles work to evenly distribute heat throughout the work day. To preserve its lifespan, the control knobs on this griddle are constructed of a break-resistant material.
