Description

The Globe C24GG Chefmate® griddle is made of stainless steel and can withstand high-volume use. Its extended, cool-to-the-touch front edge reduces the risk of operators burning their hands when cooking. Adjustable feet at the bottom of the unit's stainless steel legs keep it stable, so it doesn't slide if bumped; they also account for uneven surfaces. The 3/4-inch-thick griddle plate has two steel U-style burners to provide heat every 12 inches on the 24-inch-wide by 20.5-inch-deep plate. Flames implemented every 6 inches distribute even heat.
The Globe C24GG commercial griddle is heated by natural gas and includes a gas conversion kit and regulator. Users manually control the griddle with thermostatic controls; its adjustable pilots have front access. To prevent hot oil from popping onto nearby surfaces, 31/4-inch-high back and side splashes are featured. After use, leftover oil and food particles can be scraped into the 31/4-inch-wide trough and into the stainless steel catch tray for easy removal.
