Description
The Equipex GL650 DI drop-in induction cooktop enables cooking on a regular counter, and the casing is made of sturdy stainless steel, with the cooking surface constructed of vitroceramic glass. This glass surface has controls integrated into the top, including a power button, 99-minute timer, and adjustable power level. Because the unit uses induction, it automatically senses magnetic pans placed on top and heats them up, helping save energy by only using heat when it is needed.
The cooktop has low-temperature capabilities, great for melting chocolates and making sauces, and high-temperature capabilities for saut?ing and stir frying foods. Fans keep the internal components cool, so users can cook for extended periods of time without the machine overheating. To simplify cleanup, the air filter is removable, and splatter on the controls can be wiped off.
