Featuring removable, straight plexiglass sides, the Howard-McCray SC-OS35E-5-B Impulse horizontal open-air cooler supports continuous lineup for establishments that may need more storage in the future. The unit's heavy-gauge steel structure withstands heavy use for a long-lasting design, while its black color hides stains. The 1-inch front bumper prevents exterior damage caused by collisions, and the front grill is removable when cleaning and servicing are required. Measuring 75 cubic feet, the interior features step shelves for organized storage and can be secured with the night cover to reduce energy costs when the unit is not in use.
The Howard-McCray SC-OS35E-5-B cooler uses foam insulation, low-velocity fans, and air screen technology to sustain temperatures between 36 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit. These temperature levels are managed using electronic controls. For simple installation, the refrigeration system is self-contained, and the included condensate pan removes moisture development. To reduce frost and ice development, the cooler's air defrost performs six cycles every day.
