The display case utilizes a self-contained refrigeration system, which maintains cool conditions ranging from 36 to 40 degrees as determined by the electronic controller's input settings. The automatic defrost system prevents ice from forming, while a pan collects condensation during operation.
To ensure stability, the Howard-McCray SC-OS35E-6-LED impulse open-air merchandiser is built with a heavy-gauge steel super structure. The unit's neutral white paneling helps product displays to stand out. Straight plexiglass trim adorns the front and sides; these work with the air screen to maintain cool internal conditions.
