To keep prepared sandwiches, packaged snacks, and bottled drinks at safe temperatures, the Federal ECSS60SC Specialty Display end-cap refrigerated merchandiser uses R449a refrigerant to produce set temperatures between 38 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Staff can monitor and modify temperatures with the accessible controller and thermometer. While integrated high-density foam insulation retains generated temperatures to save energy, the curved air deflector circulates air in front of the products, blocking pests and dirt from entering the unit. To streamline operation and maintenance, this self-contained unit includes a condensate pump and an insulated, rust-resistant evaporator coil compartment.

In the case of uneven surfaces, its leg levelers can be raised or lowered.
