This unit is approved for use outdoors or indoors as long as it is placed on level foundation. Using R134A refrigerant, this ice maker can produce as much as 55 pounds of top hat ice per day. This unit has few moving parts, ensuring a long life and stress-free maintenance.
The Hoshizaki AM-50BAJ-AD undercounter ice maker is operated with a power switch that is accessible without removing the panel. For cleaning purposes, the water circuit can be disassembled, and the storage bin can hold as much as 22 pounds of ice. This unit operates with a self-contained refrigeration system and front airflow intake and exhaust. Because it does not expel air from the sides, the machine can be installed right beside other equipment, counters, or walls.
