Description
Under the right conditions, the Koolaire KYF-0150A undercounter ice maker can produce 169 pounds of ice in a day. Ice is formed when water runs over the evaporator grid, and once they are frozen, these cubes fall into the bin for storage. This bin can hold 92 pounds of ready-to-serve ice, so a bar or serving station is unlikely to run out during busy dayparts. Cubes are half-size, which means they gather closely together and take up a lot of space in glasses to lower the amount vendors spend on beverages. Its air-cooled condenser does not require as much water as a liquid-cooled condenser does, which saves on water bills.
The Koolaire KYF-0150A ice machine is short enough to fit under a counter, and since air flows through its front, space is left on the sides for other equipment and supplies.
