The Krowne 16-197 automatic faucet is a touchless unit, which means water is dispensed without spreading germs and contaminants through touching a handle. The faucet's infrared sensor turns water on and off based on motion, and it features a 2-second closing delay and a 30-second timeout to reduce water waste. A low-battery indicator notifies staff when the faucet needs attention.
