At the top of the Continental 3FEN reach-in freezer is a self-contained refrigeration system designed to keep temperatures at the set holding range. Its R-290 hydrocarbon coolant is a nontoxic alternative to traditional refrigerants and is distributed with its expansion valve system. Users should note the off-cycle defrost reduces frost on coils and other components for an extended lifespan. Temperatures are simple to adjust with the electronic controller featuring a digital display and high and low alarm.
