Hoshizaki SR60B-8 60" Steelheart Sandwich/Salad Prep Table w/ Refrigerated Base, 115v

With a compact design suitable for small-scale settings, the Hoshizaki SR60B-8 sandwich top refrigerator features a stainless steel interior and exterior front, sides, and cover in addition to its food-preserving refrigeration system. The upper half of this station is topped with a removable prep guard that keeps cold air in and blocks contaminants out while housing eight 4-inch-deep poly pans used throughout busy shifts. These pans are suited to hold various components for salads or sandwiches while remaining above the cool surface with the included adapter bars. The 60-inch cutting board provided along its length maintains cleanliness as line cooks receive orders for warm Philly cheesesteaks or Caesar salads. Below this board are two stainless steel doors that maintain a tight seal with magnetic gaskets. While the layout of the doors can be switched if needed, they're designed to stay open at 90 degrees and shut automatically if opened to a lesser angle, allowing line cooks to gather needed ingredients from the two adjustable shelves within. These shelves can be raised or lowered by half-inch increments and the doors are finished with extruded aluminum handles.
The Hoshizaki SR60B-8 prep table utilizes an intricate, self-contained refrigeration system located at its rear to hold temperatures between 32 and 52 degrees Fahrenheit during long shifts. Within this system is an enamel-coated evaporator that removes hot gas condensate before ice damage occurs, capillary tubing that spreads environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant, and an air distribution feature that supplies cold air throughout the unit's body. Four 6-inch casters, two of which lock, are provided for unit mobility, easing the cleaning process.
