From the Platinum series, the Southbend PCE15S/SD-V double-deck convection oven is designed with a bakery depth of 29 inches. Each deck is designed to accommodate full-sized pans, ideal for large batches of side dishes, or pastry items. Built of dent- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel, this item can withstand persistent use in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Internally, this oven is made of porcelain with an enameled finish, which provides durability, lessens the appearance of wear, and aids in heat retention. Coved corners are easy to clean and facilitates even heat distribution. Each deck is equipped with two dependent doors that permit efficient, one-handed opening, and to provide a view of the oven interior, each door is windowed and the interior is illuminated.
Located on the front right of the Southbend PCE15B/TD-V convection oven are the touchscreen controls, which enable users to digitally program temperatures between 150-500 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit's ventless design permits placement away from a hood, which is ideal for kitchens with limited space. This item has a forced cool down mode to quickly decrease the oven chambera€™s temperature. Each oven chamber can hold five plated oven racks that can be adjusted across 11-position rack guides.
