Description
Users can operate the Southbend PCE15B/TD bakery-depth oven in three modes: manual, recipe, or rack cycle; the rack cycle is great for cooking items in bulk. The touchscreen is side mounted and placed away from the heating element to reduce burn hazards. It has an adjustable temperature range between 150 and 550 degrees and a holding range of 140 and 200 degrees. A digital display shows the current temperature and processing time, and to prevent overheating, the unit is built in with high-limit temperature control.
The cavity of the Southbend PCE15B/TD full-size convection oven measures 29 inches wide. Five plated racks and 11-position rack guides are fitted in each cavity, and the guides are spaced 1 5/8 inches apart. The exterior is made of stainless steel, while the interior is finished in porcelain. Two metal dependent doors with energy-efficient glass panes help retain heat. The door handles stay cool to the touch during operation.
