The Frymaster FPH155 fryer is heated by LP gas and ignited electronically for easy use. Its automatic melt cycle lets operators use solid shortening because this feature melts it slowly without scorching. The open-pot design makes cleaning the frypot easier. A boil-out feature helps employees clean the fryer by heating up water and detergent in the frypot to get rid of oil deposits and other debris. Cleaning out oil and sediment is simple; the cold zone has a forward-sloping bottom that guides the debris towards the drain. A center-mounted temperature probe provides accurate temperature readings.
Regularly filtering oil extends the Frymaster FPH155 fryer's life and prevents the need for excessive maintenance. The filtration system is built into the cabinet for simple use. Its entire cycle lasts about 5 minutes, preventing extensive downtime. The filter pan is mounted on a rail so you can roll it over floor mats easily. This sloped drain pan leaves little oil residue when draining, and oil drains freely into the 3-inch round drain. Its drain safety switch protects staff from injuries when filtering the oil.
