Both Frymaster FPRE280-17 electric fryera€™s vats have an 80-pound capacity to accommodate high-volume applications. Their frying areas each measure 18 inches long by 18 inches wide by 5 inches deep to support large products, such as bone-in chicken. The vats have an open structure thata€™s easy to clean and accommodates various products. Heated by self-standing, swing-up heating elements, oil is slowly warmed with a melt cycle when the unit is first turned on to prevent burning, which could impact taste. An RTD compensating temperature probe maintains oil temperatures within a degree of the intended temperature for best results. The deep cold zone beneath the frypots collects debris, while its front-sloping design encourages quick oil removal through its 1 1/4-inch drain.
To ensure consistent results, the Frymaster FPRE280-17 electric fryer includes a digital timer controller with temperature displays, melt cycles, a lighted digital display, and a heat response system. Its built-in filtration system also helps maintain good-tasting oil for longer periods, saving on oil costs and kitchen space. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel frypots, door, and cabinet withstand high-volume use to lengthen the unita€™s service life. Because it has casters, it can be wheeled to different areas for organization and cleaning.
