The Frymaster FPRE317 fryer battery has three vats, with each vat holding 50 pounds of fat for frying; if users choose solid shortening, the unit has an automatic cycle that melts it without scorching. To ensure oil is the right temperature, the unit has a probe thermometer, and because the pots have an open design, they dona€™t have tubes or burners directly in the oil. This design facilitates cleaning and creates a small cold zone for sediment to gather.
