The Frymaster RE180-17 high-product electric fryer's frypot has an 80-pound oil capacity, an open-style design, and an 18-inch by 18-inch frying area that is ideal for frying large quantities of food, such as french fries and bone-in chicken. Swing-up, flat-bar, self-standing heating elements warm the frypot, and a 1-degree-Fahrenheit compensating temperature probe is attached to the elements to provide an accurate readout. To ensure oil isn't overloaded and doesn't degenerate, users can manage frying times with the digital controller that provides temperature readouts in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
A front-sloping cold zone built into the bottom of the Frymaster RE180-17 electric fryer collects sediment that could impact oil and food taste, while its 1 1/4-inch ball-type drain valve expels sediment buildup to maintain a clean unit. To streamline maintenance, an automatic melt cycle liquifies new blocks of shortening, reducing the risk of burning. The frypot, door, and cabinet sides are made of durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel to withstand high-volume use, and the unit is supported by 6-inch legs that can be adjusted by 1 inch.
