With a 50-pound oil capacity, the Frymaster RE17TC ultra high-efficiency fryer withstands high-volume use and produces large quantities of fried favorites, such as french fries and chicken. Self-standing, swing-up heating elements warm the frypot, while the insulated structure heats and recovers quickly. An advanced electronic switching device transfers the required amount of energy to the electrical components in smaller increments than traditional gas and electrical controls to improve temperature control. A 1-degree-Fahrenheit compensating temperature probe is mounted on the heating elements, and operators can raise or lower temperatures with the CM3.5 controller.
To preserve oil quality, a deep cold zone built into the bottom of the Frymaster RE17TC floor-model fryer traps sediment away from the cooking area, while the 1 1/4-inch, full-port, ball-type drain valve releases the sediment. The frypot, door, and cabinet are made of rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel to provide a long service life. Overall, the unit measures 15 5/8 inches wide by 31 inches deep by 45 3/8 inches high and is mounted on 8 1/2-inch-high adjustable legs to minimize wobbling on irregular surfaces.
