AET Model 45AS32 4.5″ 32:1 L/D Extruder having a six (6) zone electrically heated, water cooled (closed loop), and side vented barrel at a nominal 42″ centerline height. The gearbox is direct driven out the back end by a 250 HP Marathon Blue Max motor with inverter. The gearbox has a shaft mounted oil pump and heat exchanger. The extruder has a water-cooled feed throat. The free-standing temperature control panel has six (6) zones for the barrel and three (3) zones of temperature controls for downstream zones.
Inverter is mounted inside the control panel. 480/3/60 600 amps. S/N 2448. Manufactured 11-04-04.
Includes Nordson/Xaloy model EH-60 hydraulic slide plate screen changer having two (2) nominal 6″ diameter breaker plates, hydraulics, and accumulator. Also includes Nordson/Xaloy model WRP-12I water ring pelletizing system.
