The DoALL DCDS-600CNC-A high production, horizontal StructurALL®, automatic numeric controlled indexing, dual column, dual mitering metal cutting band saw offers up to 17″ x 24″ (440x600mm) rectangular cutting capacity and 18.5″ round capacity. Also classified as a double column, dual swivel, the DCDS-600CNC-A is ideal for production sawing of a large variety of materials including, but not limited to, structural solids, stainless and tool steel. The DoALL band saw has a touch display controller for easy operation. The DCDS-600CNC-A offers high loading capacity and a variety of optional accessories. This hydraulically controlled dual column, automatic metal cutting band saw has a double-swivel head that is able to miter/angle cut at 60° both left and right. The saw blade is set at 7° cant allowing for more efficient cutting. The DCDS-600CNC-A is the ideal machine for a fabricator cutting multiple angles in the same work piece.

Operator Control Console: Control Console extends out beyond the light curtain and can easily be positioned for operator comfort and safety insuring hands are away from the blade at band start.
Mitsubishi Touch Screen Panel: The touch screen workstation provides the operator with easy to access job programming along with constant monitoring of jobs while the machine is running in automatic. The work station also monitors and displays blade speed, head feed rate, and head position at all times. It automatically displays any machine errors for ease of any troubleshooting eliminating any long periods of downtime.
Saw Head Design: The saw head is mounted on linear rails which are mounted to two robust columns at a 7 degree cant. The 4 point head mounting system to the columns increases stability of the saw head allowing for increased blade life.
Direct Driven Band Drive: Drive is comprised of an electric VFD controlled motor transferring power thru a gear reduction unit directly to the drive wheel eliminating belt slippage giving positive torque to the saw blade. The drive wheel is supported on the side opposite of the drive to lessen bearing wear and uneven drive wheel wear.
Servo Driven Indexer: The indexer is positioned and driven by a servo motor driven ballscrew system including a rotary encoder which is known for its accuracy. Its 78.5″ single stroke, which can be multiplied, decreases cycle time of the machine allowing for increased production.
Retractable Shuttle Type Index Vise: Both index vise jaws retract when the vise is opened to accommodate the movement of crooked stock increasing accuracy and repeatability. The vise open/close position is constantly monitored to prevent the possibility of collision between the fixed and index vise.
Saw Head Turntable: The robust saw head turntable is hydraulically driven during automatic cycle programming or manually entered RTO (rotate to) function and hydraulically locked in place to prevent head drift eliminating the possibility of scrap parts.
Digital Read Out for Head Positioning: Digital Read Out’s are used for head angular and height positioning. These scales are time honored and known for their rigidity and service in the sawing industry.
Full Stroke Hydraulic Vises: Full stroke hydraulic vises insure maximum part clamping eliminating the possibility of material movement. Unique designed front vise jaws give maximum clamping pressure near the cut at all times. Variable vise pressure will prevent distortion in thin wall tubing and extrusions.
Multiple Machine Cycles: The machine can be operated in either semi-automatic or automatic mode. In semi-automatic mode the material is placed manually by the operator or by use of the GTO function and clamped in place. The head is placed to the desired angle thru the RTO or rotate function and locked in place. The saw band is started and the cut is completed. In the automatic mode the operator programs the pieces to be cut in one of the 100 jobs, sets the material, and starts the cycle. The machine automatically cycles thru the parts as programmed making it a “hands free” operation.
Hydraulic Blade Tension: Two cylinders located at the front and back of the idler wheel allow for better support of the wheel and lessen bearing wear. The hydraulic tension eliminates possible error of over/under tightening of the band for maximum band life and cutting rates.
Flood Coolant System: Supplies coolant to the blade evenly before and after the cut creating straighter cuts and allowing longer blade life due to coolant being supplied at the tooth tip.
ASR Metered Feed System: The ASR cutting feed system allows for automatic cutting feed regulation based on set parameters. This system has two basic modes ARP and RZP-2. The ARP system adjusts the cutting speeds by monitoring the cutting resistance of the material and the dulling of the saw blade. The RZP-2 system allows the operator to break the material down into 5 cutting zones allowing for the increase/decrease of the band speed and feed rates according to the shape of the material. These 2 features override the metered feed rate entered by the operator preventing over feed conditions that will greatly affect band life.
ARN Band Break In: The automatic band break in cycle, or ARN, automatically reduces programmed feed and speed rates for a specified length of time. The cutting force and blade speed will automatically adjust at the end of the preset time. This takes the guess work out of blade break in insuring that the procedure gets done at blade change greatly increasing band life.
Band Wheels: Cast steel band wheels insure proper band tracking and long life.
CMU: The CMU mode allows in cycle for the material to be backed up to allow for non contact movement of the head to the upper position saving the saw band from dragging on the material which shortens band life.
