This Gebring finishing hone system was manufactured in 1970s.
It went through complete overhaul in 2004 by Gebring in Germany.
Siemens CNC Controls were added at this time.

Stones are adjusted with hydraulic cylinder electronically or manually to get a bit more out of it

This is finishing hone, which can polish up a surface pretty good, to 0.005 t if someone gets really creative and good at operating it.
