*Machine as equipped is guaranteed to form a 1-3/4" thick mild steel plate to

24" diameter x 10' long steel tube with flats not exceeding two times metal

thickness or 3-1/2". When equipped with standard 25" top roll this machine has

a rated capacity of 2-5/8" mild steel plate plate to 60" diameter x 10' long.

The entire machine and gearcases are designed and built by WDM staff. WDM has

been continually building rolls for the last twenty three years. WDM has well

over 1000 machines in the manufacturing field.

HEAVY DUTY DRIVES

The high torque drives are designed and manufactured to provide the very high

forces required to enable the operator to roll 24" tubes in one pass. These

gear cases are of robust design and manufactured locally by Wildcat Ridge

Gear.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

The hydraulic system is designed using mainly standard, off the shelf American

made components. The large bending roll cyclinders are manufactured by WDM

using standard seals and replacement items. Off the shelf components are used

whenever possible throughout the entire system. The hydraulic fluid is

filtered when leaving and again when returning to the tank.

SPECIAL SMALL DIAMETER TOP ROLL

The top roll is accurately machined from a chromium molybdenum alloy steel,

through hardened to 28-32 RC, with the surface flame hardened to 55-60 RC,

.150" to .200" deep.

OVERHEAD SUPPORT SYSTEM

The overhead support system stiffens the top roll during the pre-bending

stages of the forming operation. It can be moved out of the way to complete

the less stressful finish bend. Should the support not be required for the

operation, it can be rotated 100 degrees out of the way. The support can also

be raised 48" to provide clearance for smaller diameter tubes.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

WDM uses premium efficiency electric motors and well designed hydraulic

systems to conserve energy. In the interest of energy conservation, this

machine will be equipped with dual 30 HP systems in lieu of one 60 HP system.

Because of the relatively small size of the work piece, we believe only one 30

HP system will be required to provide satisfactory performance. The second

unit will be available any time time higher speeds are required.

If the order is placed by January 15, 2012, WDM can deliver during the month

of May 2012 subject to availability of bars and workload at time of order.

WARRANTY

Machine is guaranteed to be free of defects for a period of one year. It is

guaranteed to perform as rated or WDM will cheerfully upgrade until it does.

In the event that satisfactory performance cannot be achieved, the down

payment will be refunded and customer and WDM agree to mutually release each

party from all obligations.
