NEW JOHNFORD LC-60

Johnford LC series machines are large, heavy-duty, high-precision flat-bed CNC turning centers. Distance between centers range from 80″ (2,032 mm) to 788″ (20,015 mm) in 39.4″ (1000 mm) increments. Swing over the machine bed ranges from 40″ (1,016 mm) to 90″ (2,286 mm). Spindles are available in 50-133 hp, with a four-speed gearbox spindle drive. C-axis and Y-axis capabilities are optional. Standard are 12 vertical turret tools, with 4 or 6 horizontal, 8 vertical, or twin turrets optional.

The vertical 12-tool turret with a 12″ thick tool disk provides rapid indexing, as well as coolant through the tool holders. The turret has boring bar capacity of up to 6″.
