Precihole‘s BSP Series shaft and barrel straightening machines are compact and precise for straightening gun barrels. Barrel blank straightness is a very important factor that determines the accuracy of the weapon system.

A barrel is a long slender shaft that is likely to bend during many stages of heat treatment and machining as it goes through all the way from bar stock to a gun-ready profiled and chambered barrel. The press, which uses a hydraulic cylinder, allows straightening of all blank ODs from ∅20mm to ∅60mm and lengths of up to 1,500mm.

These shaft and barrel straightening machines are very simple to use and do not require any special operator skills.
