48" SMS Galvanizing Line (Used)

This used 48" SMS galvanizing line with a Comstock Furnace is capable of handling a width range from 24" to 48" and a gauge range of .008" to .040". The line can apply coating thicknesses from G30 to G90. It was operational until 2012 and offers a coil weight capacity of 47,000 lbs. with a line speed of 350 feet per minute.
The line includes comprehensive components such as uncoilers with coil cars, control and pinch rolls, a welder, scrubbers, and dryers. Additionally, it is equipped with a vertical furnace and cooling section, Ajax galvanizing pot, and Kohler air knives. Handling elements like steering rolls, deflector rolls, bridles, tachometer, and coating weight gauge ensure efficient operation.
Other features include a tension leveler, 2-Hi mill, chromate spray, inspection station, and recoiler with belt wrapper. With its robust structure, this line offers reliable performance for galvanizing operations, making it a valuable asset for industrial applications.
