Description

Our plants are designed for the production of high quality Gold potassium cyanide (GPC) 68% K[Au(CN)2]. We realize plants of different capacity, according to customers’ request, from 3 kg to 10 kg per batch (the duration of a production cycle is about 8 hours).
The plant is formed by a polypropylene structure, which houses:
An electrolytic cell for gold dissolving and preparation of the gold potassium cyanide solution, connected to a rectifier
A crystallization unit for the transformation of the gold potassium cyanide solution into salt, connected to a chiller unit
An electrolytic cell used for the recovery of gold from the mother liquors, connected to a rectifier.
It is advisable to install a suitable fume scrubber and an effluent treatment system in order to remove the KCN from the exhausted liquids.
