Metal Melting Furnaces

Our Burnout Furnaces are ideal for lost-wax casting, heating precious metals, and much more! Each unit includes a heat-indicating pyrometer and switches to allow flexible firing, plus pilot lights to signal when the kiln is "on" and a 6' power cord. Designed with a setter plate and front-loading plug door with heavy-duty hinges that helps to minimize heat loss, while allowing for easy use.

To ensure firing efficiency and reliability, these kilns include a stainless steel case with a heavy-duty angle iron frame; interior walls that withstand up to 2300°F, an insulating fire brick, and back-up insulation that will neither pack down nor burnout during firings. *Please allow for a 3" clearance around your crucible or flask on all sides to allow the proper amount of air flow within the kiln. Solid state electronic temperature controls are available for all kilns.
