Description

The furnace is of the separate ram design with the roof lift and swing mechanism mounted on a foundation separate from the furnace shell. Fabricated steel furnace shell with slag door and tap spout. The furnace is complete with hydraulic roof lift and swing as well as electromechanical furnace tilt function. The electrode columns are of the fixed mast design with electromechanical electrode positioning. Electrode arm bus work is water cooled. Electrode arms are equipted to accept 10.0 inch diameter electrodes. Solid state electrode regulation. High voltage electrical equipment consisting of disconnect and furnace switch. Several transformer options available.
