Description

The furnaces are of the separate ram design with the roof lift and swing mechanism mounted on a foundation separate from the furnace shell. Fabricated steel furnace shell with slag door and tap spout. The furnaces are complete with hydraulic roof lift and swing as well as electromechanical furnace tilt function. The electrode columns are of the rise and fall design with electromechanical electrode positioning. Electrode arms are water cooled as is the electrrode arm bus work. Power operated electrode holders for 10.0 inch electrodes. Solid state electrode regulation. High voltage electrical equipment consisting of disconnect and furnace switch. Several transformer options available.
