Overview
Ross immersible homogenizing mixer by charles ross & son co. (hauppauge, ny), model me 501, serial # 66082. Features all c-276 hastelloy wetted parts, 2 7/16" diameter rotor contained in slotted stator, 31" long shaft, homogenizer mounts from 11" diameter 8 bolt ss flange with housed john crane ld 28 double mechanical seal mechanical seal with kalrex o rings and single npt inlet designed for 10/15 psi buffer gas, homogenizer operable in up to 50 psi enviorment (vacuum service is possible-check with manufacturer for usage design), down thrust propeller mounted on rotor shaft, upper mechanical mounting is painted steel, unit is reconditioned with new two horsepower motor @ 3600 rpm, 208-230/460/3 phase voltage, 5. 6-5. 1/2. 5 amps. Formerly used in etical pharmaceutical service. Origonal drawings on file.
