Overview
Gifford wood laboratory homogenizing mixer, model 2 l, serial # 2l-7023. Features all stainless steel wetted parts, 1/2 horsepower drive by robbins and myers @ 7500 rpm, 115 volt, single phase, 19" long shaft with adjustable deflector plate, rotor has been modified by welding additional lengths of ss to each of the four turbine blades for a total diameter of 3. 5", enclosing stator has been removed, mounted on 18" wide bridge constructed of paraelell lengths of aluminum angle iron. Formerly used in cosmetic processing.
