Fields of application
Stabilizing and recycling reinforces subsoils and allows the replacement of damaged bitumen road surface layers.

The new BOMAG RS 460 generation is versatile and can be used for cold recycling as well as for base stabilisation and subsoil improvement measures.

When used as a recycler, old and damaged blacktop surfaces, including the base course, are torn up and crushed. New binder is mixed in.

Pre-spread lime or cement is mixed in during base stabilisation or soil consolidation.

The site can be profiled at the same time with BOMAG’s RS 460. Sensors always keep the rear frame in the correct position. Up to five degrees (left/right) can be compensated. Even working on difficult subgrades and soft material is no problem thanks to all-wheel drive and anti-slip control.
