This Used Flottweg Model Z4D-3/409 Sedicanter® Decanter Centrifuge is a high-speed, high-performance separation system designed for applications requiring efficient solid–liquid separation with fine particle handling. Flottweg’s Sedicanter® technology bridges the gap between traditional decanter centrifuges and disc centrifuges, making it ideal for products with very fine solids, high clarification requirements, or low-density solids.
Constructed of 316 stainless steel, this unit is suitable for demanding chemical, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, biotech, and industrial processing environments. With a maximum bowl speed of 7,750 RPM, a 30 kW (40.2 HP) main drive motor, and a 7.5 kW (10 HP) backdrive motor, the centrifuge delivers precise differential speed control and high centrifugal forces for optimal separation efficiency.
