The Heidelberg MK Diana Eye 55 is a pack printing and effect enhancement defect inspection system that combines unique LED lighting technology and a cutting-edge 4K or 8K camera system. It checks the quality of carton blanks at a speed of up to 300 m/min. The system can inspect for defects such as hickeys, scratches, streaks, color variation, register deviations, substrate, hologram, and varnish defects. The Masterwork Diana Eye 42/55 provides real 100% control of the entire image of every single folding carton, with a competitive production speed of up to 120,000 ct/h. The system features a patented light dome with adjustable light angles, detects metalized substrates, hot foil, and hologram applications without reflections, and has an adjustable light intensity.
