A Mullite ball mill - a ball mill that either uses mullite grinding media (balls) or is employed for grinding materials like mullite. Mullite is a ceramic material known for its high-temperature resistance, mechanical stability, and chemical durability.

Synthetic mullite was processed on the plants. Mullite has a Mohs hardness of 6 to 7. It was pre-crushed in the gyratory crusher (40 mm -> 10 mm), finely crushed in the roller crusher (10 mm -> 1 mm) and finely ground in the ball mill (>1 mm).

The information on fineness is only indicative, as the grain sizes could be adjusted via the throughput and settings on the aggregates.
