How to stay safe with non-Pro sellers

Equipt connects buyers and sellers of industrial equipment. We don't own the machines, inspect them in person or process payment for you, so it's important to do your own checks—especially with sellers who are not using Equipt Pro.

Before you commit:
  • Confirm the seller's business name, address and contact details
  • Ask for recent photos or video of the equipment running, including serial plates
  • Request invoices, maintenance records or proof of ownership when appropriate
  • Compare pricing against similar listings to spot offers that look too good to be true
When paying:
  • Use secure, traceable payment methods (no cash or untraceable transfers)
  • Be cautious if a seller pressures you to move very fast or change payment details last minute
  • If anything feels off, pause the transaction and contact Equipt support before proceeding

Taking a few extra steps up front greatly reduces the risk of scams and helps keep the Equipt marketplace safe for everyone.

Description

In order for workshops using pressbrakes to comply with the current safety regulations APT International has introduced a safety package. This package contains; 
- transparant covers for the hydraulic cylinders
- activation of the pressbrake via dual-hand control 
- safety barriers for the rear of the pressbrake.
