Description
This used American Process Systems ribbon blender, Model DRB 18, is a compact yet robust batch mixing solution designed for uniform blending of powders, granules, and dry bulk solids. With an 18 cubic foot (135 gallon) capacity, this blender is well suited for pilot-scale production, specialty manufacturing, and industrial batch processing.
The unit features a 60" long x 24" wide x 28" deep trough with a 2-inch diameter shaft fitted with welded inner and outer ribbons for efficient axial and radial mixing. Discharge is handled via a 6-inch center bottom outlet with gate valve, providing controlled product release. Mixing power is supplied by a 5 HP motor through a gear reducer, with speed control via an Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 525 VFD, allowing precise process adjustment.
