NEW PISTORIUS COMPLETE LH SPINDLE ASSEMBLY WITH SEALED BEARINGS
Overview
Pistorius Complete LH Spindle Assembly with Sealed Bearings.
This assembly can be put into the machine after you loosen the saw head set screw at front of head, and remove the outer bearing lock nut. The belt guard, belt, and pulley needs to be removed prior.
The assembly consists of the spindle body, a double and single row sealed bearing set, Double Row Bearing Lock nut, and bearing spacer.
The bearing spacer provided has a hole in it for two reasons: 1. If the purchaser decides to use different bearings down the road that are open race for some reason, they can be greased. 2. So the jam nut can be seen upon rebuilding of the spindle as some techs have tried to push both bearings off at once for whatever reason destroying the entire spindle.
Sealed bearings do not need to be greased. You can take out the grease fittings at the front of the saw heads and replace with set screws if you wish.
This is the common length spindle about 4" OAL.
