USED STANDARD MACHINERY 2A SWAGER

The Standard Machinery No. 2A rotary swager is a compact production swager used to point, taper, and reduce the diameter of wire, rod, and tubing. Rotary swaging cold-works the material rather than removing it, so grain flow follows the reduction — producing a stronger part with a smoother finish than turning or grinding, and no chip loss. The 2A is a common fit for wire drawing pointing operations, tube end forming, medical and instrument components, and short-run job shop work.

With approximately 0.250" solid and 0.750" tube capacity driven by a 3 HP motor, the 2A covers the small-diameter range where larger swagers are oversized for the work. At roughly 865 lbs it sits on a standard shop floor without special foundation work and ships on a pallet rather than requiring flatbed transport.
