Buflovak / Hebeler double-effect reverse-fed rising/falling film evaporator system, designed for concentrating hydrolyzed slurry or similar food and protein-based liquids. Rated for approximately 6,500 lb/hr feed (13 GPM) with 15 wt% solids, evaporating 4,140 lb/hr of water and producing concentrate at 41 wt% solids. Includes (2) vertical shell and tube effects (24" dia. x 84" L), vapor-liquid separators (48" and 54" dia.), vertical surface condenser, plate and frame cooler rated 180,000 BTU/hr, and transfer heater rated 58,000 BTU/hr. Equipped with SIHI liquid ring vacuum pump (130 ACFM @ 75 Torr, 7.5 HP), (5) stainless steel centrifugal pumps with VFDs, Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC with PanelView Plus 7 HMI, and PowerFlex drives.
