FEATURES:

     The Model 747-2 is a massive, rigid machine made from high tensile strength close grained cast iron. The Model 747-2 is assembled in the USA and inspected in every area to provide years of optimum performance at lower cost.

     The ram, turret, column, knee, saddle and table have cross ribbing to insure maximum stiffness. All joints are accurately machined and hand scraped to provide accurate mating and insure the close tolerances for which this machine was built.

     In addition, each joint (table to saddle, saddle to knee, and knee to column) is provided with an adjustable gib to insure long life and accuracy.
