Description
DERBY EVO, born from Fagima's extensive experience in machining center construction, stands out as a top choice in today's market. Its design, meticulously crafted with modern systems, ensures high rigidity and eliminates fall on the Y axis. Rapid accelerations enable reduced cycle times, especially for larger pieces. Available in 3 versions with different X axis strokes, the 300 version offers optimal balance.
The structure features a monolithic base made of enriched mineral casting, providing high loading capacity without complex foundations. The column-holder carriage slides on roller guideways, ensuring smooth operation across all axes. Inside the column, a tool changer and exchange arm are housed, with a standard tool magazine offering 42 positions (expandable to 60). The column is engineered for maximum spindle-holder head rigidity.
Elegantly styled with front sliding doors, DERBY EVO maintains a clear separation between dry and wet working areas. Its standard configuration allows for extensive expansion and customization, such as the turning/milling kit, positioning it at the forefront of innovation and distinguishing it from competitors.
