NEW FAGIMA DOMINUS Big 5-axis

Dominus Big represents a significant advancement over its predecessor, Dominus, maintaining its core structure and equipment while enhancing reliability, strength, and rigidity. It retains the longitudinal axis strokes of previous models (2200, 3200, 4000, 5000, and 6000 mm) and the Y axis stroke of 1200 mm, but increases the vertical axis stroke to 1200 mm as standard, with an option to extend to 1500 mm. This expansion is achieved through a more powerful column design, housing two ball screws and synchronized motors for smooth movement.

The column is engineered to accommodate a robust electrospindle with 400 Nm of torque and automatic universal birotative milling heads, enabling high-performance machining at remarkable heights. For versions equal to or greater than 4000, the X axis movement is facilitated by rack and pinion, offering additional capacity and equipment options for a wider range of applications. Despite these enhancements, Dominus Big complements rather than replaces Dominus, with the latter still highly regarded for its exceptional performance in its category.
