The AWEA FV-560 5-Axis Vertical Machining Center is a high-precision machining solution engineered for complex, small-to-medium sized parts commonly found in aerospace, automotive, and medical applications. Designed around AWEA’s proven R&D and manufacturing expertise, the FV-560 features a rigid Meehanite cast bed, wide-span column structure, and roller-type linear guideways to deliver superior rigidity, vibration control, and machining stability during simultaneous 5-axis operations. Hand-scraped contact surfaces between major structural components ensure precise assembly, optimal load distribution, and long-term accuracy.

At the heart of the FV-560 is a direct-drive BBT40 spindle rated at 12,000 rpm (15,000 rpm optional), designed to minimize thermal deformation while providing strong torque and smooth power delivery for high-speed and high-precision cutting. The machine is equipped with a high-performance A/C-axis trunnion table, offering a ±100° A-axis swiveling range and 360° C-axis rotation, enabling full simultaneous 5-axis machining or efficient 4+1 multi-face operations. High positioning accuracy and repeatability on the rotary axes ensure excellent contour control and surface finish on complex geometries.

A standard arm-type automatic tool changer with random tool selection improves productivity by reducing tool change time, while the comprehensive chip management system—featuring chip flushing and conveyor support—maintains a clean and reliable machining environment.
