The cold rolling process reduces the material thickness before entering the tube mill, resulting in increased yields, tighter tolerances, and improved mechanical properties. As the metal experiences mechanical stress during cold rolling, it undergoes a permanent change in its crystalline structure. This enhances its strength and improves corrosion resistance.
