The model 3710.S is a semi-automatic saw, able to cut 3 ¼ ” deep in a single pass and has a 17 ¼” crosscut capability.

Weighing in at 800 pounds, this substantial saw is made for the rigors of everyday use. The Crosscut Power Saw is well suited for use in pallet shops, lumber yards, schools, big box stores, and many more industries. Semi-Automatic Crosscut Power Saws are easy to operate. First, slide the material into the side of the saw and under the Lexan top. Secondly, clamp it into place using manual or pneumatic clamps. Next, merely push the button to activate the cycle. The carriage moves radially forward and cuts the material. In these models, the carriage stroke is controlled by the adjustable stops on the right side of the machine. Lastly, the carriage returns to its home position under the machine’s cover.

We proudly manufacture woodworking machinery in our Northern Iowa facility. Original Saw Company’s Semi-Automatic Crosscut Power Saw is made with a powder-coated, heavy steel frame. With a TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled) motor and internal automatic brake, this crosscut saw has the best cut quality in its class. This Crosscut Power Saw utilizes a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to control the arbor motor. Using the VFD increases the speed of the blade by over 8 seconds. Because of the VFD, this saw has a slower, smoother start-up.
